WHO IS SPOOKNSPOOK?

My name is Izzy - I’m a queer, Filipino-American designer and artist.

A former psychology student, I investigate and analyze the cascade of manners in which we as humans solve, speculate, surrender, and savor - what disturbs us and makes us tick. Design sits laboriously on this science, contingent on the philosophies of the audience it wishes to seduce to have purpose. The relationship between the viewer and viewed is intimate. How can I confess to, manipulate, and provoke my audience in an emotional exchange of the visual?

There are others who experience art through a contrasting set of goggles - I am not the only eclectic out there. But it is this heterogeneity I wish to devour.

My experience motivates me. Our world motivates me. Design and creation, in everything, motivates me.
